Why do I get an ALT tag warning (SubmitNet's HTML Analysis tool)

The graphics on your page, such as digital photos, logos, and clip art, are not 'seen' by most search engines. Search engine programs 'read' the file name of the image. An ALT tag is used to display alternative text when a user's browser cannot view images. By using an ALT tag, you can add text to graphics and improve keyword ratios on your page. The ALT tag text will also pop up when you hover your mouse over an image. The ALT tag warning is displayed to warn you of images without these tags on your page.
